Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport

Amerigo Vespucci Airport is served by many domestic and international flights with daily flights. The airport is just 4km north-west of Florence. Public Bus companies SITA and ATAF run a bus service between the airport and Santa Maria Novella Station.

The Aeroporto de Firenze, commonly referred to as Aeroporto Amerigo Vespucci or simply Peretola, is located 4 km from the center of Florence. A taxi can make the trip in 15 minutes, and the Sita/Ataf 'Fly by Bus' between the airport and Santa Maria Novella railway station takes 20 minutes. If you are coming into Florence from an international destination, you are probably using Galileo Galilei airport, closer to Pisa.

The airport's terminal has all the amenities a traveller needs, such as ATMs, banks and currency exchange offices. Other facilities include restaurants, shopping and business facilities. An information desk is located in Arrivals and is open from 7.30 am to 11.30 pm. The information desk provides tourist information as well as information on flight arrivals and departures.
